DESCRIPTION

MetaGuard 300 is recommended for Metamark MD3 series. Has a matched overlaminate it prevents tunnling and delamination. MG300 is a 70 micron monomeric calendered matt overlaminate,The 70 micron film gives a high level of abrasion resistance and contains UV stabilisers. It can be used on flat or gently curved surfaces such as vehicle graphics.

Handling and Application:

  • This product is suitable for cold lamination using a laminator.
  • Ensure that the material has reached room temperature and a relative humidity of 50% before printing.
  • Do not handle the face film, ensure free from dust and static.
  • Allow the inks to cure before overlaminating, this is usually 24-48 hours (darker colours can be longer).
  • Suitable for use on Eco Solvent, Solvent and Latex prints. 
  • The product is matched to MD3 & MDP. Matched laminates prevent tunnelling and delamination.
  • Apply around 30°C on the top roller to prevent silvering of the adhesive.
  • The user should determine suitability of the overlaminate to the print media.
